Dear Friends and IFY Community,
It is with great sadness that I am notifying you today about the permanent closing of IFY-Infrared Fitness and Yoga studio in Collingwood, effective August 31st, 2021.
Sadly the pandemic and resulting series of shutdowns have prevented IFY to thrive over the past year and a half. While we had a tremendous start to our business in early 2020, due to the threat of a 4th wave and the Delta variant, and individuals still somewhat fearful of comingling in a fitness environment, we are simply no longer able to continue to hang on with the lack of a clear horizon.
It is truly a sad day, but I am so proud that I was able to create this unique solution to fitness, and introduce so many of you to the powerful benefits of infrared heat paired with all fitness styles. While this is an unfortunate ending, the friendships we have formed with you are priceless and I want to thank each one of you for the support you showed us.
I want to specifically thank Marlo Stoutenburg from the bottom of my heart for her steadfast and passionate leadership as the IFY Studio Manager, as well as all of our amazing instructors for their commitment to flawless excellence in running our various different fitness classes. You are all amazing and incredible at what you do.
We will STILL be open for classes until August 31st, so we encourage you to get your classes in and use your passes!
Please also be on the lookout for our notice on the closing sale that we will hold right after the Labour Day long weekend for some of our fitness equipment and other merchandise.
It was a pleasure to be a part of the incredible fitness community in Collingwood and I wish you all the very best in your personal fitness journey.
