Rowing Classes

Indoor Rowing offers a group exercise that’s low-impact, high efficiency, and great for building strength and endurance. Rowing is a total body workout of unparalleled efficiency. These classes are a unique combination of individual effort and team support. Each person is in control of how hard they push themselves, however, rowing in synchronicity creates a unified effort and team environment that elevates the experience beyond what any one person could achieve.
Elite rowers are among the fittest athletes in the world. When not on the water rowing, competitive rowers train on indoor rowing machines, called ergometers or “ergs.” Using the same machines competitive rowers train on, the Concept2 ergometer, IFY offers high-energy, high-intensity, low-impact total body workout suitable for everyone. Our Instructors will focus on proper form and technique throughout each workout to ensure you reap all the benefits rowing offers, while reducing risk of injury.

WHY ROW?

Improve posture and strengthen your body from head to toe. Backed by science and data, the benefits of rowing are unparalleled. Each workout produces maximum results by engaging over 85% of your body’s muscles (legs, core, arms, back), delivering the perfect balance of aerobic endurance and muscular strength all in one workout.
